Sea Bream Persimmon Leaf Sushi is one of the most refined varieties of Nara’s traditional kakinoha-zushi.
Delicately flavored sea bream is placed on sushi rice prepared with our signature blended vinegar, then carefully wrapped one by one in persimmon leaves and gently pressed.

Sea bream has long been regarded in Japan as an auspicious fish, associated with celebration and good fortune. As the sushi rests wrapped in the leaf, the subtle umami of the sea bream gradually harmonizes with the vinegared rice, resulting in a smooth texture and an elegant, balanced flavor.
Please remove the leaf before eating and enjoy as is.
